Congratulations to Captain Mark for receiving her Canadian Forces Decoration (CD). It was presented to her by Captain Woods on behalf of Maj Kiecker, OIC Army training for RCSU Prairie, at the December 1, 2010 CO’s Parade.The CD is often the only decoration recognizing the many years of hard work and devotion to Canada made by CIC officers. It was established by King George VI in 1949 and is awarded in recognition of 12 years of service and goodconduct and is an important benchmark in a military career. It symbolizes the devotion to duty and the sacrifices that characterize life in Canada’s military.
