Request for Pipe/drum instruction increase.  This parent committee has been discussing the bill that has been submitted by Kevin Frasier.  All agree that it is grossly out of hand.  Andrew is a volunteer position, he has spoken up, and suggested pay the contracted rate (that he says is generous) $30.00 per session.  NOT the $75.00 that he has billed us, that he is stating that we agreed upon.  That none of us (parent committee/cadet staff has any knowledge of)

Andrew also has some other suggestions for extra instruction for band. (clincics) to save some money.

Highland Pipes and Drums Clinics – To talk about in September

Andrea makes a motion to pay Kevin Frasier $30.00 for the requested amount of sessions.  Paula seconds it. And not pay for the ACR, etc.

Amendment to last nights minutes:

This has come up, with a few people asking questions today, as of what actually happened in the Annual General Meeting, last night. And how official it is?  Sorry for any confusion.  Hopefully this clears things up.

Kathleen Closs-Walroth, was elected to the position of Recruiting/PR, Coordinator.

Stew Wenman offered to be vice-President, then withdrew, with Stacey Fennell’s interest in the position.

After all the positions were read and accepted, there was talk of a position being opened up for Stew.  Kathleen said that with her position having the 2 parts, she would welcome the help. Kathleen is the elected member of this position.  Stew was not elected into any position at this time.  As of our meeting last evening, he was put into a position to help Kathleen with the Recruiting/PR.
