• Andrew, piping instructor, will not be able to continue working with the band. There will be two interviews for potential instructors tonight.

• Corp would like to get a general phone number. It would be one that would forward the call to the staff member who is ‘On Call’. Right now all calls are going to Captain Mark’s cell phone and she deals with all the inquiries, which can be very time-consuming. This new phone number would be between $10 and $15/month. (Motion: Gord Fish; Second the Motion: Heather Undershute).

Gord Fish (Airdrie Legion representative) –
• Legion Poppy sales to date are: $50,895
• Poppy sales typically start two weeks before November 11th. The rule of thumbs is that: wearing poppies starts when the General Governor wears one.
• Legion needs the help with the November 12 Community Links dinner. They would like 5 cadets to serve and 5 cadets to work in the kitchen from 18:00 to 21:00.
• Gord would like to volunteer his time for both mornings of the casino fundraiser.
• Remembrance Day at the Genesis Place will be very full, so be there early.
• If any parent is available to help out with the Bingo on Thursday’s at the Legion, contact Heather Undershute.
