The staff and parents committee of 3016 no longer offer car pooling to any events. There is a phone list that can be opted in to for cadets to get the names and numbers of other cadets. It is up to individual cadets and their parents to ensure that cadets have rides back and forth to all events, even when they are outside of Airdrie. All cadets must be dropped off and picked up on time. If they will be late or absent, it is up to the cadet to report it to their section commander.
The Airdrie Army Cadets have traditionally carpooled when traveling outside Airdrie. This policy is currently under review due to abuse by some parents.
Parents driving for a car pool are asked to fill out an Army Cadet Drivers Log and hand it in to the Parent’s Committee President so that we can keep track of things.
