Thanks to the Calgary Highlanders for a great Bar-B-Q.

May 31, 2010 in Calgary Highlanders, Events

On behalf of all the Airdrie Army Cadets and their families who attended, I would like to say “Thanks” to the Calgary Highlanders for a great family Bar-B-Q last weekend.  Numerous Airdrie Army Cadets and their families attended and helped with setup, supervision (especially the basketball-tug-O-war) and clean-up.

Besides helping out, the cadets seemed to find ways to enjoy themselves including the odd but very popular tug of war basketball game:

The Calgary Highlanders weapons display was quite popular.  Don’t worry, they are not loaded (I hope…).

There was also a bouncy house and other toys.
