In the past, this has included a choir in traditional Dutch national costume, buffet lunch with Dutch cuisine and inspection of the Guard by the Dutch Consul General. This event is open to the public.

This memorial, to be constructed adjacent to Memorial Drive, will list the names of every Highlander and member of the 10th Battalion who died serving Canada.
