Airdrie 3016 Army Cadet Rifle Teams Place 3rd and 4th in Southern Alberta .22 Caliber Rifle Competition
February 3, 2010 in Army Cadet League, Competitions
This December, the Airdrie 3016 Army Cadets entered two teams into the Southern Alberta .22 caliber rifle competition. This competition was run by the Army Cadet league as a mail-in competition where the cadets do the shooting with their corps and then mail in the targets for scoring. Because of our very cold December, Capt. Mark arranged to have the 3016 do their shooting at The Shooting Edge.
Our teams placed 3rd and 4th. This is the first competition that the 3016 Airdrie Army Cadets has entered in quite a while and I think that everyone is pretty happy with it. Hopefully we will be able to do more of this in the future.
A special thanks to The Shooting Edge for hosting us and going well out of their way to accommodate us.
